VHT VHT, Flameproof Coating High Heat Spray Paint, Flat, Aluminum, 11-oz

I used this to paint an old 4 into 1 exhaust setup on a Honda CB. I did the proper prep work on the pipes and cured the paint by heat cycling it by running the engine. Even before curing the paint it seemed very durable, even more so now.

My review concerning the paint is neutral because even though it sprays on nice with a satin finish, I have not tested it under heat. This paint is used on a classic to keep the new exhaust looking good so I can only hope it works. I do have a big complaint concerning how stores keep up their inventory. At the time I needed this paint only 2 local stores had 1 can. I could not order it as an on line purchase so the discount was useless. Some dealerships try to help me out but very seldom. I had to drive 4 times further than my local store in order to find a can of this and while at the store a customer called looking for a starter for a boat. Three sales reps were there and all said they don't sell boat starters. I offered my assistance telling them they do if the boat has a Chevy or Ford motor. I repeated myself several times and they all ignored me repeating to the customer they don't sell the starters. I do shop Advance Auto more than any other distributor and I'm fortunate to know what I want even though the sales reps are totally spaced out.
