I did it myself
The batteries died in old sensors soon after the tires were replaced. Bad timing. So I replaced all 4 at once. With access to a tire changer and the skills necessary the replacement was straightforward. The train of the sensors was less so. I don't have the scanner and I tried the magnet trick. Didn't work. So I tried the air bleed technique used on newer vehicles. Worked like a charm.
