Turtlewax Headlight Lens Restorer - Removes oxidation and seals headlights

This does not use motorized tools. The scrubbing off of really bad weathering uses progressively finer scrubbing pads and a lubricant solution to do the job. It takes a lot of work but in the end it does the job. Then a soft cotton cloth and a polish smooths and shines the lens before applying a coating. The kit will do one and only one car. I did two cars but at the same time after looking the kit over. There is only one sealer coating application pad in the kit and then the kit is used up.

I used this on both my wife's and my daughters cars. Both had slightly yellowed discoloration, but more significantly, minor to medium pitting,scratches. On the discoloration, this product works well, for the heavier pitting/scratches, it takes a lot of elbow grease. This should come with a buffing wheel. It would really make the product work much easier.

I went ahead and bought the drill attachment kit, which worked much better. Glad I did too.

Instructions should have been more detailed. It was the most inexpensive product and has performed as such. It has been 2 weeks since I used the product and the lenses are foggy, again.

I drive a 1999 Chrysler LHS and had decently oxidized lights. I've owned older cars whose lights were more heavily oxidized, but there were time with this car that's I didn't feel safe driving without my brights on. I researched several products and decided on this one due to the fact that it was more extensive then others that were just one step liquid products. My thinking was that if the 1st step liquid didn't do enough I could use the 3 step fine sanding and sealing option that was available in this kit. To my surprise, the liquid did the trick after just 2 coats on each headlight. I barely used half the bottle of liquid so I'll be able to reuse when it comes time to clean the headlights again.
