I had extreme tar buildup from road resurfacing. The affected areas were on the bottom of the truck bed behind the rear tires. I sprayed this product on and let it sit for 10 minutes. When I went outside to have a look, there was tar dripping off onto my driveway! Amazing product. Wiped clean and the paint looks as good as new.

The product does okay removing tar. If you have a light colored car, it is noticeable that some stains definitely permeate into the clear coat. Once you wipe off the spray, you must rewash the area to get it thoroughly clean as it leaves a gummy residue. I only bought this product because it was on sale at the time I bought something else.

I tried it on several small scratches, it did remove part of the scratched but not all. I have used another product what would have removed the same type of scratches.
