Great for the money!!!
This orbital is very easy to use single handed. When applying polish, apply to small areas (2' x 2')and remove immediately. If using this polisher, make sure that you have a power cord that you can handle while using. Place the power cord over your should to avoid hitting up against your vehicle. After polishing/ waxing my vehicle, I didn't notice any swirl marks. I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact you can always improve something, although I didn't discover anything with this device.

Effective for the money
This is a cheap and easy way to get into a dual action polisher. It's a lot faster to polish and wax a car with machine help. My only gripe is the short, short power cord. The extension cord and polisher plugs meet in an opportune spot to drag against the car if you don't sling the extension cord over your shoulder. The box includes a terry bonnet and a synthetic wool bonnet, but I prefer microfiber bonnets and bought a couple of packs of those separately.

Thinking about buying a second one

Great, easy to use product. I won't go back to polishing by hand! I am thinking about buying a second one so that 2 people can polish at once & cut the time in half again. I did consider buying the two-handled buffer, but am glad I bought the single as it is much easier to maneuver and your other hand is free.

Just what I needed.

Much more efficient than polishing and waxing by hand. Size and weight allow for single-handed use.

Very low power

This buffer has a very weak motor. If you apply any pressure at all, the wheel is incapable of turning. For light polishing and spreading wax, this isn't a problem, but for BUFFING (paint correction, which is what the buffer describes it can do), it is completely unusable. If you plan on using this to more quickly spread wax on your car, this is a great and inexpensive tool for the job. If you want to touch up paint and polish afterwards, look for something with more drive.
