Great replacement muffler
My stock muffler on my 1992 toyota pickup 3.0 liter V6 broke the weld on the muffler so I set out to a couple of muffler shops and they quoted me 170-200 dollars for a new muffler. Went to advanced auto and found this thrush muffler for [$] dollars and a muffler clamp and hanger. In total I spent around 40 dollars. My engine is stock and I wanted something quiet as I already have a cut out for if I want it to be loud. This muffler did the job! It has a slightly deeper sound (NOT LOUD) at idle and sounds great when getting on it.

This part does not fit on 90-96 Caprice
This part does not fit on 90-96 Caprice use Thrush # 17696 instead. Also you will need ~ an 8 inch 2 1/2 ID to 2 1/2 OD extension pipe.

2005 Toyota Corolla XRS
Better than a straight-through muffler! It has been proven that turbo mufflers flow better than glass pack mufflers with half the noise. The Thrush is much smaller than OEM mufflers which saves weight and increases ground clearance. I have used this muffler on all types of engines. Some recent examples include; a 5.0 Mustang, a v6 Lincoln LS, and now a 2005 Corolla XRS. There is no better muffler on the market for maximum performance with just the right amount for sound.
