I was worried about the muffler having a straight through design after having a bad sound after starting my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 with no muffler. I was worried that it was going to sound like junk. I am very pleased with the sound and performance. It gave it a good rumble when I get on the gas and is not overly loud.

Inlet/outlet same size but nice muffler
I really like the sound and at the price you can't go wrong. I almost never give 5 stars, I gave this 3 because the inlet and outlet are the same exact size, they are both ID, not ID inlet and OD outlet like a normal muffler. I'm curious why you would do that? I wanted to add a turndown but can't because the turndown inlet is the same exact size as the muffler outlet. I am having to make all kinds of modifications (as do most people they are just not saying it) to get it to fit onto other pipes. I attached this to my Jeep for 2 reasons, sound and location. This tucks up into the frame to get it away from the trail which is a necessity, so for that it is perfect.

this glasspack is much better than the magnaflow i had before it was [$] for a 2.5 inch i need a 3 thats [$] so i said screw it and used the 2.5 it sounds great on a 06 f250 with the 5.4 nice and loud like i asked fori hade someone install it for me but its real easy if you have the right size just cut and connect it back togeather
