These glasspacks are the same as they were in the 60's and 70's , but best of all the prices have barely changed from then. I've put em on a lot of different vehicles in the last bunch of years, and they all give that great od rumble, not too loud unless you really stand on it, but a great throaty rumble, not that inboard motorboat sound you get from the expensive flat mufflers the competition sells these days. To me they just sound like hollow echo chambers or empty tin cans. These fit right on late Crown Vics , like the ex-police car with the h-pipe in place. You just leave the stock cats on and cut off the dual mufflers and slip on the 25" by 2" glasspacks made by Thrush and you're down the road. No loud annoying or reverberating echo at highway speeds, not TOO loud, just a nice power rumble. Couldn't be easier.

Thrush glasspack was a replacement for some mufflers I had on a truck that I had installed over twenty years ago. This truck sees very little use and these mufflers look to be as heavy as the ones I took off. If they last as long as the ones I replaced these will be the last set I will have to put on. Also the price was very reasonable and they were in stock.

the best performance sound in old truck i use in ford f150 79 5.8 and I use 2 muffler of this model have a agressive sound and deep sound i recomend
