Product fits and functions as expected
The part fits and functions as expected.Supposedly it is new. However, the casting looks like the original Ford casting with all the identification marks ground off. Yes, ground off, as in with a die grinder or dremel. The throttle plate itself has exactly the same number in the same font as the OEM part I removed. So, maybe the electronics are new and the rest is cleaned/reused? That's fine, but in my book, that's remanufactured, not new. So, I don't know what to make of that. Anyway, time will tell. The original went 112,000 miles. We'll see if the car goes another 112K along with this part.

I will go to autozone next time.
I added my vehicle, used throttle body as my search criteria, found it, bought it, took it to my mechanic - Wrong One! Took the throttle body back to Advanced Auto, the local guys were great but after the computer said that it was returned it spit out a statement saying that an electronic item cannot be returned. I took it home until I saw the money hit my credit card which it did 4 days later.
