Good product at a reasonable price
I use vacuum pumps for a number of purposes... Refrigeration, Vacuum Clamping, Chemical Degassing, etc... When I use them for pulling down an AC system however, I make it a point to immediately empty & replace the oil while the pump is still hot. The oil is hydroscopic which aides in removing moisture from AC systems, but the water and associated acids created by the water/refrigerant mix will settle out and separate from the oil if they are not drained immediately after the task. Things like water, hydrofluoric or hydrochloric acids, are not something you want sitting in your pump for any length of time if you wish to avoid problems in the future. As stated earlier, when pulling down AC systems, fresh clean oil helps speed up the process of moisture removal, so don't be cheap here.
