Exactly like OEM part
The new lifts hold my truck's hood up as they should. Not sure how long they'll last since I just installed them. Get some help to hold the hood up while installing the new ones - hood is very heavy! Highly recommend.

Does not for 1999 Nissan Maxima like it states
Needed to purchase this support for the hood of a 1999 Nissan Maxima. On the websight it said that this support was a perfect match. It ended up being 3 inches too long and we had to return it. Could not order the proper one on the websight or at the store. Ended up getting it at Napa.
