Mass Air Flow Sensor corrects faulty cruise control.
I own a 2010 Ford Focus SE with about 92,000 on it. A while ago, the open end wrench warning light on the dash came on and immediately my cruise control stopped working. After turning off the engine and restarting the warning light was off and everything seemed fine. The cruise control would work, but there were times the vehicle would surge as if you were pressing down and up on the gas pedal. Just recently, the wrench light along with the engine light came on together. I replaced the fuel cap, but that didn't help. After replacing the Mass Air Flow Sensor both warning lights turned off and the cruise control is now working. It appears the problem has been solved. Only time and more mileage will verify that this was truly the solution. By the way, I did NOT replace any oxygen senors.

I will not do business with advance again.
It didn't! I was sent a defective product and went to your Pontotc branch to get an exchange . I called ahead to see about the problem like previously discussed with your csr. They brought out a Hitachi that was on sale instead of what I purchased. If things are bad, than people are going to bring them back whether they are online or bought from the store. It should make no difference. This should not be a problem.

Not what the online pictures display
I ordered this part, and the online pictures indicate it is a Ford Manufactured part and appears just as the Ford part, but it is not, and it is all plastic, with no metal top. I figure Ford made it this way for a reason, so I prefer the replacement part to match. I did not purchase the part therefore I can not say if it works or not.
