for a shade tree mechanic you can't go wrong. you will know excatly how good your battery is and how your starter and charging sys is doing. of course not as great as a digital meter but for the price, as i said you cant go wrong.

This load tester does the job for determining the status of your battery before you purchase another one. You must fully charge battery before use. Not for use on deep cycle marine or RV batteries, otherwise it will do the job.
