Meaty shock.
Night and day difference to 16 year old original steering damper. Steering is vastly improved in all driving conditions. Don't neglect your suspension. I drive a jeep grand cherokee with no lift kit. This is probably overkill since I don't off-road, so much the better. For the price I'm glad I got this for my car. Easy to install, had to reuse bolt to attach end to chassis of car. Instructions give to indication on which end goes where, but since it's a horizontal shock I concluded that it did not matter. Haven't had any issues with it. Would highly recommend.

Good quality product, but does not fit my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. I needed a p/n RS5404 according to rancho website not RS5401 that Advance said fits. Installed and extended length about 2" too short...
