proform starters
got a proform starter and right off the bat started draging noticed that aafter the first start the bendix teeth were worn so shimed it checked the clearance were fine next three or four starts the bendix was gone teeth gone had a motor man fix it put new bendix on it yesterday replaced the flex plate and put the proform back on it got it running 4 times then the same thing happened now the bendix totally gone again and i could not find one for it the first time took the motor man 3 weeks to find a bendix for it would not recomend this product

Worked well on me El Camino with a ZZ3. Good detailed instructions. Had to re-index and use the shims but it turns it over with a good battery like there's no tomorrow.

had some issues with bendix dragging after starting several times and installing and removing shims bendix cleared up ?? may be a problem later on removed all shims seems to be okay can only rate 4 stars

The instruction ,what instrucions ? the one on how to modify to fit the motors that it states that it fits.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
