I took an auto body class some years ago and the stuff we used and this product smell exactly the same. I had great results with a recent paint job with no fish eye. Another brand product is sold as well in a quart container and appears to be a better buy, but it is nothing but a low grade thinner. The spray can sctually goes far enough to clean a full size truck. Use Blue Dawn detergent and then this stuff and you are good to go.

Use this before rattle can painting. Works well evaporates fast, (I wouldn't spray directly onto primer, use a rag) and the smell isn't overpowering.
