Perfect for Bleeding Brakes
This is a very good tool for testing vacuum components and for bleeding brakes, especially after replacing brake caliper(s) and/or master brake cylinder. Perfect tool for bleeding a brake system if you work alone. This tool can be used to create a vacuum or to "push" fluid from the brake caliper to the master cylinder especially from the rear wheel calipers (longest run to master cylinder). I used this to bleed the brakes on my 1988 Mercedes 300E. I like it so much that I have decided to purchase one.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Staff is enept and this is worthless
Pump will not vacuum or blow out. Totally worthless and a waste of time and gas to go get it. Ridiculous that the staff didn't even inspect the unit before loaning it out. Phone call revealed that they know absolutely nothing about these, nor do they seem to care.
Check Vacuum before taking it home

This was the worst tool I've used in a lo my time. Couldn't pullover -.05 vacuum. The fittings were a waste of plastic. Use a bottle and hose to do the same thing.
