Ball Joint/U-Joint Press Set specially designed for safe, versatile, and easy maintenance for a wide array of vehicles. Allows for Ball Joint replacement without control arm removal. Smooth U Joint removal and replacement with the included C-clamp press. Supplied adapters work on Press-fit upper and lower ball joints from GM, Ford, and Dodge 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles. Including 1967 to current 4-wheel drive ½ ton to ¾ ton vehicles with Dana 44 series front axles. Plus two adapters for Chrysler threaded ball joints as well. Strong tool makes hard work a breeze
I have used this tool many times to replace ball joints. It is large, but most of the vehicles that I work on are large. I have not had any problems and have always got the job done with this tool. It is better to have an extra set of hands when holding the tool and new ball joint. The directions are on the cover and good enough to get an understanding of how the tool works.

It might be good if I get to use it.
My rating so far is service related. I purchased this a week ago and I had to appear at the store to have a new one brought to the store for me. They only stock a loner tool and I wanted to own a new one for the price. The "New" one arrives and I go pick it up only to realized the next morning that the seal was cut and it was in fact a used loner. No phone calls on my order status but I stopped by the store for some tail light bulbs and asked about my order. It should be here tomorrow I'm told. If it is then it will be the 4th visit I've been to the store for an item I ordered online for store pickup.

Needed more instructions with it 4 sure!
This item is a nice set with many parts to complete many different aspects of removal and installation of the parts it is intended for BUT it needs a instruction booklet to be included with it so the layman or normal back yard mechanic would know how to apply and use this tool the correct way and not get hurt by using it incorrectly since there is tremendous pressure on certain parts of it that if it were to pop loose or break it may do harm to someone that could have been avoided....

Tool worked well
Tool works good. I used it with an impact wrench. It would take a lot of force if used with a regular wrench. There were many adapters included so you should be able to figure out a suitable combination. I would say that this is a mechanic quality tool. No complaints here.
