As an OE manufacturer, PEX brake wear sensors are designed and produced to have the same form, fit, and function as the original OE part. This means technicians get the right part for the job, the part fits properly, and the brake wear sensor works correctly once installed. This insures that as the brake pad wears down, the sensor makes proper contact with the rotor, which breaks the sensor's wire loop. Once broken, the car's warning lamp is illuminated, alerting the driver that the brake pads have worn to a level in which they need to be replaced.
