Its better if container is removed from box prior to filling. Works better if a vent hole is punched in the back of the container.

Peak DEF seems to work just fine in my new truck. Repeating what others have said, you should take the plastic jug out of the cardboard box before using it, otherwise it is too heavy and unwieldy.Careful when putting on the spout, it is flimsy and if you stress it by resting it on the filler it can/will pop off and you'll have a nasty cleanup ahead of you. Likewise try not to get any on yourself or clothing. If you do, douse liberally with clean water. I also agree with the idea of using a small ladder or step stool to give you a height advantage in pouring the DEF into the tank. I did that the second time I filled up and it was much easier.Cost is variable, it's cheaper at the local Walmart, but having it shipped to me by AAP was easier than making the drive. To their credit, delivery was pretty quick, can't complain.However, they had a special going on when I made my purchase (15% off and $25 coupon for next purchase) and they wouldn't honor that offer on this purchase which I thought was pretty Mickey Mouse of them.I'm happy enough with the Peak product, you just have to be careful how you handle it. I would recommend it, but next time I think I'll buy it elsewhere, that bait and switch bs at Advance left me with a bad taste.
