Worked great for temporary lighting.

I needed a quick set of lights to put on a project trailer I was making out of an old camper. These worked out great for the situation. I just needed to get the trailer down the road legally and was not to a point on the project that I was ready to put permanent lights on it. Only worry was the strength of the magnets. on a bouncy trailer I didn't think they were strong enough but if used while towing a car with a suspension they would work out just fine. I plan to keep them in my truck for any cases when my trailer lights don't work and I need something to get me home.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
No I wouldn't

They wouldn't stay on the trailer. The magnetic failed.

Work great for picking up trailers and cars with a dolly. Keeps you from having to wire up brake lights or run flashers.
Not worth the money--replacement lenses not sold by Advance
One fell off my trailer the first time I used them, the lens was lost. Advance does not sell the lenses. Also, on my 2004 Chevy Avalanche, the lights do not light up unless the brakes are pushed or the turn signal is on; there are no constant night lights on, when the vehicle lights are on.
