Best Plug Wires For LSX Platform
These MSD wires are hands down the best wires available for an LSX platform. I just installed these on my 2002 Silverado 5.3L and I am impressed. These are 8.5mm thick compared to the factory 6mm. I have ZERO radio interference/static. The idle seems to be a bit smoother, too. The description fails to mention that the straight boot (plug end) is actually adjustable. You can bend it to nearly 90 degrees to compensate for header clearance if you're running headers like I am. Without this feature, the boots would rest right against the primary tubes and burn. Highly recommended to disconnect the negative battery terminal during a wire swap. You may need to do an idle relearn upon reconnecting the battery as sometimes it will have a low idle symptom when you leave the battery disconnected for several minutes. You can google how to...it's not hard to do. Also...dielectric grease is your friend anytime you install new plug wires.

The plug wires I was looking for are it. Needed less ohms for performance and reduce static in my stereo. Key factor is the core wiring.

Good Wire Set
Installed with new NGK plugs on 2006 Chevy Avalanche at 75k miles. Great increase in power. Chevy Corvette forum highly recommends NGK plugs and MTD wires. Liked the performance so much on my Avalanche that I bought NGK plugs and wires for my vette as well. Both are running like champs right now.
