Don't Fit
2009 Tacoma. If I could select 0 stars I would. These do not fit. One side went together but is so tight that it hardly moves. The other side will not go together at all. Putting the second side in and put one clip in and it will not move enough to be able to put the other clip in. The grease fitting is not the standard zerk fitting and the original is too big to fit on. Terrible, do not buy! I hope Advance and/or Moog takes care of me.

pretty disappointed

changed out both joints in rear driveshaft due to vibrations when letting off throttle. vibes went away for about 50 miles. removed both joints the following weekend, and replaced with the same. vibes went away for 50 miles. these ujoints are garbage; hard to properly grease b/c they dont have a real grease fitting. i will be removing this second set and installing real, greaseable ujoints.

Bought 3, 1 didn't come with any of the clips or the grease fitting, store pulled the other one, had the wrong clips and the wrong grease fitting, so instead I ended up with 2 HD joints and 1 standard greaseable joint. Also rented the u joint/ball joint kit, tried using it on the first joint, wouldn't sit on the drive shaft properly, ended up having to blend out my drive shaft race where the u joint pressed into because it kept trying to "cockeye." Even tried the kit again on another joint, ended up using a 3 pound hammer and sockets. Store ended up having to send the joint kit off for "repairs."

The Zerc fitting is located on a bearing end cap rather than on the body cross axis. The zerc fitting is short because of this and impossible to use with a grease gun if the clip is installed. MOOG includes a special clip that is to be used on this bearing cap. Regardless I still can't grease the joint with the clip installed. The thread on the zerc may not be a standard thread so don't know if I can replace it with a standard zerc. MOOG uses this fitting to prevent it being whacked off.
