Noticeable ride quality improvement
Had these installed all the way around my 04 GMC Yukon XL which had original shocks w/ 136k miles. Immediately noticed the lack of front end dive while using the brakes. Here in SE Pennsylvania, potholes and manhole covers abound on every road. Minor road imperfections which used to cause the chassis to upset itself while driving are now nearly unnoticeable. Used a 20% discount coupon when purchasing the set so the already good price was even better. I wish I had done this at the 100k mile mark as my 12 year old Yukon rides and handles nearly as well as she did new. Can't go wrong with these!

You get what you pay for
Bought all 4 new shocks. The rest of the suspension, at 98,000, was nice and tight. While they are easy to install, these shocks give an absolutely horrible, harsh ride. They are not progessive shocks like the factory originals and my Avalache now rides like a 1 ton truck instead of the upscale SUT it was intended to be. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. While they will keep your truck from bouncing, I would NOT recommend these I you care about having a comfortable ride.
