Listening to the collective voice of our customers we have released the 10390HV performance high volume pump for the 3.5 liter & 3.7 liter Ford V6 EcoBoost engines. Those V6¿s are also referred to as the Cyclone engines and they share the same need for extra oil flow to assist the timing system as the modular V8 engines. The 10390HV is a high volume and high performance upgrade of the M390 and a high performance upgrade of the M390HV. The 10390HV has an improved housing, cover, and rotor design which provides 20% more oil volume over the stock replacement M390 oil pump. The pump is assembled using a 100 psi high pressure bypass spring installed, and includes an optional standard 85 psi spring which can be installed simply by removing the threaded pressure relief plug. The 10390HV performance oil pump features a hard coat anodized body and cover which improves the pump¿s durability making it a great choice for engines that will see higher rpms or severe duty type use. Also included is a new seal for the installation of the pickup tube assembly. Every oil pump is individually tested for pressure and flow during the manufacturing process at Melling¿s Jackson, Michigan manufacturing facility.
