The diamond pattern cross chain configuration across the tire tread provides more traction and a smoother ride than standard tire chains. Square cross chain links extend durability by evenly distributing wear across the link. The Alpine Sport series meet SAE Class S Wheel Well Requirements and are packaged in a zippered tote bag.

I have not used these chains, yet but they appear sturdy and well made. Too bad the storage bag wasn't as sturdy as it is torn and barely usable.
Easy to install, use and remove

I am very happy with these chains. They got my 2009 Ford Escape up a snow-covered dirt road which had quite a steep incline to it, with no problems at all - the cross-hatch pattern chains provided lots of traction. Plus, they were easy to put on and take off. After first putting them on I drove for about 50 yards and got out to check them -- they need to be re-tensioned but that was easy with their tension system. After that they were on there tight! I've used various chains in the past and it makes much more sense to go with a good set like these Alpines - highly recommended!
