PlasticWeld cures to a clear transparent bond when applied at a thickness of less than 15 mil. PlasticWeld has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 5 minutes and cures in about 1 hour. With a tensile strength of 3900 PSI, it cures to a hard, permanent bond.

I'll pass on this for something with more staying power.

When the two parts are combined, the stuff is really quite runny. Application was on a vertical plastic housing, and the mixed ep;oxy ran down the length of the part. When I tried a second time, I thought to mix the epoxy until it thickened, but it "kicked" and went rigid in an instant.
