J-B Weld HighHeat is a hand-mixable epoxy putty stick specifically formulated for automotive and industrial maintenance applications where high temperatures are a concern. This industrial-strength product forms a tough, hard bond with little to no shrinkage. It has a 1-hour work life, sets in 8 hours at room temperature, and fully cures in 24 hours. Once cured, it can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed, and painted. HighHeat has a tensile strength of 4000 PSI and can withstand continuous heat exposure up to 450°F and intermittent heat exposure up to 500°F, outperforming conventional epoxy putties. Cures to a machine-gray color.
