Nice cooler, POOR accessories
Plate style coolers like this are hard to beat. However the rubber lines supplied with this cooler do not even fit the cooler. The cooler is described as having 3/8" hose fittings but the supplied line is 11/32" and does not stretch. Replaced with 3/8" rubber transmission cooler lines and all is well.

I added this cooler in line with my factory cooler on my 2006 Trailblazer. The truck is lifted with large offroad tires, skidplates, bumper, winch...and the trans was running hot. The cooler has lower my trans temps by 40-50 degrees on average. Truck seems to shift smoother and no longer hunt for gears since the trans doesnt get as hot. With the mounting position I used and where I spliced the lines, I needed an extra section of hose, but everything else was included. Nice kit.

Bought this cooler to see if it would help with a transmission over temp issue I was having. It has certainly reduced the amount of times the transmission temperature sensor on my 2006 Dodge Dakota has tripped. It was easy to install. My only complaint is that other part numbers from Hayden (Imperial) have the needed 392 hose splice kit included, but this one does not. Not a huge deal though. You can buy it separately for a few bucks more.
