Designed for the value-conscious buyer, Hooker Competition headers offer premium features at a very competitive price. Made of durable 16 gauge mild steel tubing, the Hooker Competition header design utilizes a long transition collector to reduce back pressure and increase exhaust flow. A perfect sealing surface is assured with the 5/16" machined flanges. Experience has proven that this flange size is ideal to maintain header integrity and be pliable enough to seal each exhaust port. Tubing is mandrel-bent to maintain metal strength and provide consistent tube diameter at radii to maximize performance. Hooker Competition headers have a standard finish that features a heat-cured, high-heat-resistant paint. Optionally, the famous Hooker Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating is available.

Big Problem with passenger side
These are good quality. The driver side fitsbeautifully around the steering box and power steering pump. The passenger side is a differentmatter. It is about 2 inches higher from the ground and is almost touching the floorboard of the car. As the other reviewer said,it is going to be IMPOSSIBLE to get around the crossmember even with the S bend extension. I spoke to HOOKER and he said they are made that way and that is that. It is crazy in my view and I will now need to buy another set of headers just to get the passenger side to match the driver side.

1 hole did not match up on passenger side collector. Passenger side too close to crossmember, will be difficult to connect tail pipes!I thought Hooker Headers would have had a Much better fit than I received. Hopefully the Muffler shop can maneuver around the crossmember!! They weren't hard to install, Drivers side fit perfectly. Only issue is with the passenger side!!
