Cheap clamp (broke) while tightening!

Had to Buy REAL Clamps (separately), but the 1.5" Coupling seems to have mended a hose.

Nice little kit to take on the road for emergency repairs.

Can't trust it so it's useless!

Wanted to use this just to get me through a few days until the proper replacement hose came in. Easy to install. Filled the car with $30 worth of antifreeze. First test drive it blew off before I got to the end of my road. Re installed and tightened the clamps to the point where one was starting to twist. Filled with another $30 worth of antifreeze. Made it to the end of my road (less than a mile) and it blew off again. Got good quality clamps and installed it again. Added another $30 worth of antifreeze. Made it to the end of my road again. Barbs are not sharp enough to grab the hose even with better quality clamps. Concerning how soft it got when it was hot. I'd gladly pay $30 for a brass one! $5 isn't much to waste, $90 worth of antifreeze hurts a bit, but if I was further out it would have cost me a tow bill on top of it. Save your time and money, and lots of antifreeze! This does NOT work.
