The Super 50 series muffler is a larger version of Flowmaster's 50 series Delta Flow muffler. Originally designed for trucks and SUV's, it is also well suited to muscle car and high performance applications. In addition, the larger case size significantly reduces interior resonance and provides a deep, rich tone along with mileage and power gains. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

Was looking for a muffler to replace my stock on 2001 Dakota with a 4.7L V8. Come accross the 50 series from flowmaster did lots of research on this product from reveiws, it isn't obnoxious like most mufflers are, sounds great with windows down, almost stock sound with the windows up. Easy to install cut out the old muffler and installed the new with a few clamps and a 4" peice of 2.5" exhaust pipe to extent to the overaxle pipe. Put on a chrome tip and have already had a few people ask what kind of exhaust I was using. Some thought catback, but nope not worth the 600 bucks to do this to a truck with 127k on the odometer. Overall great product!!
