It was time to replace the stock muffler on my 02 Dakota so I took the opportunity to upgrade to this muffler. It was easy to install and I am very pleased with the sound, its aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud! Love it. The overall length is much shorter than the stock muffler so take that into account when you install yours. You will need about 12" of extra tubing.

Description states exact fit replacement. Not even close. It was about 10 inches short, not a problem as I have a welder and made a extension. Also a bit louder than I would have liked but it got the job done.
Not the sound I was looking for
I put the 40 series flowmaster on a 02 sports trac. The muffler sounds ok but wasn't as loud as I wanted it. I wanted a louder exhaust. But if u want just a good rumble its an ok exhaust to get.
