It worked fine just make sure you drill the correct size hole and do not forget to use some kind of thread cutting oil

I had to drill out a sheared stud from the engine block, because I failed to get it out with a extractor. The drill bit in this kit drilled what was left of the stud out completely, then I tapped the repair threads, with the supplied tap, and installed the repair insert. Worked just like it is supposed to!
