Valve Cover Gasket Set for 2000 Silverado 1500 w/5.3L V-8
I bough this set to repair an oil leak in my 2000 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V-8.It included the Valve Cover Gaskets (2), Grommets for the valve cover bolts (8), and an additional part that I had no use for. Something for a secondary air intake which I apparently don't have on my vehicle. What it didn't include was the Grommet for the PCV Valve. The set was reasonably priced and relatively easy to install. Relative being the key word here. Installing the gaskets and grommets was pretty simple, it's getting the old ones out and cleaning up the parts that's the tricky and time consuming part. Overall, they are a good buy and reasonably priced. Not to mention the huge savings by being able to do it myself vs. paying a shop to do it.

Valve cover gasket set review: needs a few more parts...
This is a simple gasket set. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But why not throw in a pvc groumet and the valve? From what i've read, no auto parts can get anyone the right groumet without having to return the wrong one numerous times. So... Why not sell a kit that is a real kit. And why are the darn* gaskets blue? Black is obviously the correct color to make them:) lol, pretty sure i need some sleep, just realized i did a review on valve cover gaskets.
