Dynomax Ultra Flo Exhaust System Kit Flanged Intermediate Pipe, Muffler, Tail Pipe, Clamps, Gasket, Hanger

This is my second system, Dynomax has upgraded the clamps and muffler since my original purchase. The upgraded stainless slip over style clamps are much easier to use and install. They were a much needed improvement. The standard style clamps are what contributed to my first pipe to rust out.It created a pinch point and a great place for road salt to just sit and cling to. My first system was quieter and muffler was slightly different. The new muffler has deeper sound, and nicer polished looking finish. Overall the improvements Dynomax made are functional, eased installation and provide performance. My stock muffler and tailpipe rotted out at 52k, the 1st Dynomax system lasted 85k. Hopefully this one will out last both. This is on my daily driver, New England winters/salt. Passes emissions testing, sounds good, nice look with SS tip. Nice upgrade over stock/OEM replacement. All needed brackets, bolts, donut gasket are included. Bottom line, hard to beat for the cost and what you get, proudly made in USA.

Product was shipped quickly and arrived on time. The exhaust system was designed as a direct replacement and as a result was easy to install. The stainless steel construction and polished stainless steel muffler looks great. However I was disappointed with the final results. I realize my vehicle is only a 4.0 6 cyl Ford Ranger but I was hoping for a better sound and performance. My truck now just sounds like a 6 cyl with a noisy muffler. I will probably end up replacing it again with another brand.
