Good fit; poor gasket
Verified Buyer -
Installed on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L engine. Fit fine and works as it should. Came with a plain paper gasket, so I purchased a better quality Felpro gasket and used that instead. Past experience with chain parts store water pumps is that they don't last nearly as long as OE pumps, so I expect that I will be taking advantage of the lifetime warranty in a couple of years. (I would have installed an OE pump, but my pump failed on a Sunday and I needed to get the vehicle repaired and back in service that day.)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
It does what it is supposed to.

The part seems to be of quality construction. It installed well, no difficulty in fitting up to the engine.

PLASTIC IMEPLLERS
ok so i have bought this Water pump for Past jeep, i got a new to me jeep recently, water pump went bad figured id get this one for heavy duty construction, metal impellers, well thats not the case any more, its plastic, Yea it states new but Still plastic impellers as OEM and REMAN, So If you really must have NEW, this is yours, but would like to save some cash foe REMAN, then go for it, its $25 less, Installation was fine no issues, gasket is included, Lifetime warranty, < < will use that for sure, but still Would like to have METAL impellers, not Plastic, if that was the case id just get remanufactured and save, ugh... SO as of 1/24/13 these have Plastic,
