Misleading product name; but overall a decent product
Worked as intended, however calling it a "set" is kind of misleading. This contains 1 bearing and the piece for it to set in. That is all. For my 98 Ram 1500, I needed both an INNER and an OUTER bearing, so this set AND a seperate set was needed to get the job done. If you are doing both front rotors, you will need a total of 4 bearing "sets" to replace all the bearings. 2 of the inner sets and 2 of the outer sets. Dont forget the oil seals!

didnt have parts
ordered parts online.were sent to wrong store.when I went to pick up they didn't have outer bearing I needed,went to oreillys and they had it.will never use advance auto again except to rent tools.thats the only thing they do well.

Installed carrier bearing on my '95 Ranger with dust caps and had a horrible metal grinding noise. Had to take back apart to remove the dust caps. Don't use them! They are junk. Otherwise the carrier bearing seemed ok. The carrier bearing does seem to make noise in cold weather also. You might want to opt for a higher priced higher quality carrier bearing.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Solid bearings, well made. Inexpensive to boot. Usual service I get using Advance Auto....excellent. Ordered and used on the 1997 Nissan D21 King Cab truck in the picture. It didn't need them just yet, but it was done as preventative maintenance.
