DieHard Red Battery : 65 Group Size, 650 CCA, 810 CA, 80 Minute Reserve Capacity, Reliable Starting Power

I bought this battery for a '97 Mercury Mountaineer with a 5.0L V8 in it and find it solved my problems quickly and easily.I had previously replaced the battery in this truck with one from a parts wholesaler, supposedly one of their "top of the line". It ended up not being able to hold a charge decently after just one year.While I haven't had this one a year yet, the performance I get from it already tells me it's a much better battery, especially for the price.The Mountaineer is my 2nd truck, only used when my primary is being used for something else. This truck also has a 24/7 remote alarm/starter system on it, something that sucked the previous battery down in just a few days.I've been able to start the truck, both remotely and with the key, without any difficulty even after two weeks of just sitting. No constant grinding or prayers for the engine to catch. Starts right up as if I'd driven it yesterday or had it on a charger all the time.Definitely worth the money.The only "con" I have is the word "economy" running across the top. This is not an "economy" battery but a good, solid, mainline one that does what I want, when I want, without hassles. Who can ask for more than that?

Only had a month so far but all is good. I was not sure I needed a new battery but took the chance and after the first start, it was clear the new battery was the way to go. The free installation was awesome and they did it without losing power to the engine’s computer.
