All battery's should be built the way this one is.
Fantastic battery. I highly recommend for all Ford police interceptors my 2013 roared to life and is able to maintain such a low idle with this battery. The fuel savings alone paid for this battery 3 times over and I've only owned the car for about a month. The technology in this battery (material science advanced glass deposition) allows for very deep cycling without reducing the lifespan or stored energy potential. Yes it's more expensive. But if you have a flex fuel vehicle running e85 or e70 winter blend in a cold region it's the way to go. Not getting to work because your car won't start is a lot more expensive than the difference in price from a basic lead acid battery. Be smart take care of your expensive investments ie your automobile.

Just Long enough
Battery lasted exactly 3 years. I purchased mine December 20th 2013. Mine left me with a dead battery December 19th 2016 almost three years to the date. The only reason I remember the date was it was the Friday before my big family vacation to Florida and Disney. Beyond that I found the battery not to be that good. It just last three years i have had regular replacement batteries last longer. I paid a premium to get the AGM battery and for it to last no longer than a regular maintenance free battery was a let down. I read it would provide better power and more reserve power i did not get that in my use. I am not sure who makes their battery but I will be going to someone else. I think DieHard, EverStart, Interstate and Duralast batteries all made by Johnson Controls and usually top ranked batteries.
