an excellent marine battery with 1000mca
I installed this battery in a Actioncraft/Coastal Bay sportfishing boat with a 175 hp Evinrude O/B motor. In addition, I need 12 volt battery power for a VHF radio, Lowrance GPS/fishfinder, Power Pole, livewell pumps, etc....and then to have power to start the O/B several time during the day to move to another fishing spot. With a 1000 marine cranking amps and 800 cold cranking amps this battery has the power I need.

Dead after 23 months
Battery used on 60hp tiller for starting. If motor sat for more than 2 months, charge level decreased below 50% charge. After 23 months, battery was junk. Advance Auto told me nothing could be done after 1 year of use.

Good Price for Marine Starting battery

Just got this battery, but it cranked my boat engine much better than the previous battery. It was good to find a marine starting battery, vice dual purpose battery. This battery has very high cold cranking amps for the price. I've been happy with it so far, but real test of a battery is how it performs over time. Very happy to get the marine terminals and high amps with a $25 discount. I gave it four stars, but this battery could earn a fifth star if it proves to be reliable. It is my one and only battery on my boat.
