THE one for your 2002-2006 Mini Cooper
After much research I bought this battery as a replacement for the factory unit in a 2003 Mini Cooper (non-S). Not just any battery will fit in the Cooper with it's tight box and odd hold-down. Compared side by side, it is clear that the Autocraft is the exact same battery as OEM. Perfect fit. The first one lasted 7 years, so hopefully this one will too!

Great battery but specs wrong on website
This was the battery I needed. However, the specs on the web site are not correct. I bought the battery by past number since I checked with the store an saw that the specs on the battery label were what I needed. Specifically, the website states that battery 47H5 has a rating of 520 CCA. This is wrong. It actually has a rating of 650 CCA as shown on the label on the actual battery. So the actual battery is much better than the website describes it.

Mini Replacement Battery

While the long term quality is yet to be determined, it fit my 2007 Mini Cooper R56 perfectly. Make sure you keep the right angle vent fitting from the old battery. The new one comes with a plug for one vent.
