The one to get.
I buy Dayco W-rib belts whenever I can. It has succeeded their polycog design and is nice and quiet. You won't go wrong with this belt. Some notes: 1. Check belt wear with a depth gauge. Replace when the test tool sits flush in any of the Vs. Belts don't crack like they used to. 2. Always replace the tensioner at the same time (not just the tensioner pulley). Yes, do it. It's best for everyone - new spring, new tensioner bearing, new pulley bearing. 3. On the Chrysler 01-07 minivans, also replace the alternator pulley. It's got a clutch inside and it is a maintenance item. Every one of these vans I touch needs it replaced. If you put your van in drive and you can hear a quiet grumble grumble sound like a Chuck E Cheese ticket eater machine coming through the lower dash, you need to replace this pulley. You will need to remove the alternator and use a Lisle 57650 or equivalent, or just have your shop do it. Anyways... great belt. The other people's comments about breakage won't tell you that they probably did have a pulley problem or the mechanic didn't seat the belt properly and so it shredded - they'll always blame the belt rather than fess up.

Did nothing but squeal for me
2006 Town and Country. Belt fit fine. I just couldn't get it to stop squealing. Replaced original belt as part of maintenance. I had to put the original back on. I then replaced several pulleys thinking that might be the issue. I put the new belt back on and the squealing started immediately. I had put back on the original belt. The original belt has a rough surface on back and the new belt has a smooth surface. I don't know if that was the issue or not but I ended up tossing out the new belt.

Works as intended
Belt fit fine and two weeks later, I have no issues to report. Visually it seems like a quality part. Yes, as one reviewer put it, clearances are tight which makes installation just a skotch tricky. As far as the tensioner is concerned, in my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, it has a cast extension that fits a 3/4" open end wrench. I used a scrap 2x4 to push the end of the wrench upward and hold it in place (releasing the tensioner) while I installed the belt. Be careful to ensure that the belt is mating correctly with each of the accessory pulleys prior to restoring the tensioner. Also check the idler(s) and replace any that are worn as part of this procedure. Regarding the reviewer who suffered a belt failure after only 5 days, I would guess that either the belt was installed incorrectly (inexcusable if installed by even the least competent installer) or one of the accessories seized and caused premature failure due to excessive friction. In fact, if this was replaced due to failure of the existing belt (as opposed to routine maintenance), I would definitely be checking each component in the train.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Junk
Junk - this only lasted 6 months and 3500 miles before it needed to be replaced. I went through all of the pulleys, idlers, etc thinking something else failed, but it was the 6 mo. old belt.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
