Does the job well !

This product worked very well in restoring an older, somewhat worn and slipping, self-propelled lawn mower drive belt. There is no adjustment provided for tightening the aging drive belt. Before using the conditioner, I first lightly deglazed the "V" surfaces of the belt with medium steel wool (emery or fine sandpaper should also do the job, before spraying several times (allowing each application to absorb into the belt). The belt no longer slips and seems a lot more pliable. My goal in using this product was to give added service life to an expensive, special order belt, that would have required an involved replacement procedure. If the belt lasts even another season or so, I would be very pleased.

I wouldnt buy this product again

I used this on my Belts and a few weeks later.. I needed a new engine. My engine only had 62,000 miles in it with regular oil changes and service.

Worked perfectly

Used this on a 1999 Nissan Maxima. I put new belts on this car about a year ago. The main belt has been squeaking on start-up on and off since. Tightening the belt would work but I was nervous about over-tightening. This car has had a very slow oil leak for years and I think the belt has been getting contaminated. This CRC Belt Conditioner worked perfectly. It made the belt tacky and completely eliminated the squeaking/chirping at startup. Also you get a lot of conditioner (7.5 oz) for a low price which is great. I have been working on cars for more than 20 years and feel good about this product.

Not for mental [*] like the two guys that give bad review. I bet that they just press the spray and keeped spraying until the whole thing just get ultra wet.

Works. It did silent the belt!

I cant use it with can upside - down. It makes it a bit difficult to apply in a tight spaces. Otherwise it is good product.
