Besides the satisfaction of doing it yourself the cost savings is tremendous. The Buick dealer wanted almost $400 for this brake job. I did it myself for a little over $100 by combining the sale price with a rebate. I changed rotors too, and snapped a torx bit on the first one because I didn't think ahead. On the other side, first thing, I sprayed the set screw and lug bolt bases with PB Blaster, then tapped the rotor a few times with a 3 pound sledge to vibrate the oil into the threads. When the time came, the set screw came right out and the rotor popped off with one tap of the hammer.

Horrible experiance. From beginning to end I had nothing but problems first ordered it at one store then your website locked up some out in the process of rebooting your website or put it up on a different I had to literally go to a different computer to get it to pull up it managed to send me to a totally different store all the way on the other side of town which you people at that store could not transfer the part to the store that was close to me so I listed a bunch of time and then the part was wrong when I got it is incorrect so when I went to return it I lost all of my discounts for doing it online so I no longer got my 20% I'm at 10% all these wonderful professions that you gave me to get makeup did but you at that we're great but now that I wasn't online and I'm returning the part that I got with the discount still charge me full price and ripping me off so I'm not a very happy person Advanced Auto Parts I don't think so not Advanced Auto Parts
