2012 Scion Xb Complete Replacement Kit
These pads are great and come with all of the hardware that you will will need to completely replace your pads. There is a contact plate that I had to pull off the factory pads to attach to the backs of these pads but outside of that everything else is in the box. The "Con" for difficult to install comes from the benefit of having all the extra parts. They make installation a little more tricky but I think it's worth it. Not really a con but there are kits that don't include these parts and are thus easier to install. I still recommend these. The brakes work just fine on my car. During my commute, I experience the full speed of highway driving and the stop-and-go of city driving. Stopping distance seems to be decreased and the breaks seem sightly more responsive than before.

Warning-errors in parts lookup
Wish I could rate 0 stars. The website gave me the wrong rotors for an 06 rav 4. The store gave me the wrong replacement set, which seemed right until I test drove and trashed the rotors, which were not the right depth and ended up rubbing against the calipers. The only way I was able to resolve this was three trips to the store, a trip to Toyota to get the genuine part for comparison, and a trip to the car quest warehouse to finally get the right set. For vehicle models that have multiple part numbers that can't be determined by make, model, year and engine alone, a warning needs to be added to the website to call in to the local store with your VIN to ensure you get the right part. A 2 hour brake job turned into 6.5 hours since I had to make three trips to the store, a trip to Toyota, and disassemble/reassemble the brake system 3 times. Get it right Advance, seriously.
