Worst brake pads I've ever put on a car
My girlfriend's father purchased these pads for me to install on her 2012 Malibu. At 8,000 miles, they wore grooves into the new wearever rotors that were installed at the same time and became grindy and coarse like worn out brakes despite having worn only about 10%. I always take my time doing brake jobs, making sure to do it right. I clean the rotors with non chlorinated brake cleaner, clean the pad surface, use silicon paste to lube the slide pins, and put anti seize on all contact points. This is definitely a poorly formulated brake pad. There is too much ceramic in the friction material which chews cheap steel rotors to all hell. At 15,000 miles they have became so bad without any warning that I will need to replace them immediately. They sound and feel like metal on metal and scrape while the brakes aren't being applied despite being only being half worn. I will never agree to install ceramic pads again. Semi metallics only from here on out. There is no other reason these brakes shouldn't have lasted 30,000 miles or more like the OEM brakes did.
Squeek

The pads install easy enough, I think it took me less than 40 minutes to replace the rotors and pads on my Silverado. I decided to get the better ceramic pads this time around. I normally like the metallic, they put off more dust but don't tend to make any noise. Let's just say I'll switch back on my next set. The pads stop the truck that's a plus. They just keep making a quite squeek and I even bedded them on top of lubing the shims and pad itself. I just cant get these to not make any noise. Under hard braking they are fine, it's a slow stop with less force they make noise at. I installed the metallic on my wife's car and they work perfect... their cheaper too.

Not an exact fit for 2011 chevy

Beware, this shoe has same overall dimensions as OEM but pad surface is much larger and retaining clips must be bent and altered to install. Advertised as exact fit, not true.
