Great OEM replacement! No noticeable noise!
I bought these to replace brake pads on a 2008 Toyota Camry. In summary, there is no noticeable brake noise and they feel as good as the pads I had on the car before. Surprisingly, the Wearever Gold came with the optional accessories (shims, springs, retaining clips, wear indicator tabs). Some pads don't have all of these optional components and require the user to utilize the old accessories, so I was pleased that the pads came with these. The only hard part was getting the wear indicator tabs to bend correctly to fit into the calipers. It is a tight squeeze and I had to get rid of one of them since I couldn't get the brake pads to sit properly with them on.

wearever gold brake pads...or not???
If the pads described here are the same as what I received once I picked them up at the store then they're not worth the extra $$$ spent as the cheapest ones worked just as well. These claim to have noise quieting and low dust control but they have squeaked since the 1st day they were replaced as well as continuously coating my wheels with black dust after each day of driving...the problem is that I don't think the pads I ordered and paid for are the actual pads I received once I got to the store. I checked them out before leaving and I noticed they looked nothing like they do in the picture so i asked the sales rep who rang me up and I was told "nah, that's just the way they look!" Maybe I'm crazy but I think I may have been scammed!!!
