hydraulic fluid for automotive slowdowning

well folks my advice when doing brakes for somebody else is to buy a thingy of brake fluid along with the rotors and pads and such ( assuming they are paying for it all) but make sure you use the brake fluid you already have sitting on the shelf first, it's like rotating stock at a grocery store because this stuff does go bad after a while, especially if you've opened the cap. it's hydroscopic and it absorbs h20 into itself which is awful for steel brake lines and as such will lead to a failure to chooch.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Just plain old boring brake fluid. Nothing to exciting!
