Bosch's new ICON 22A
Introduced in Sept, 2011, the 22A superseded Bosch's 422A wiper. Aside from esthetic differences in color of packaging...the new ICON series claims a 40% longer life than other premium blades vs. its predecessor's contention of 20% longer. (Yet to be corroborated) One note is that there are no installation instructions included. I scanned the printed QR code (not sure why Bosch feels the need to make a wiper blade hip) and was taken to the Bosch website which had instructions. Based on my experience with a myriad of items within the wide range of Bosch family products...I have faith that they will perform well. Given that the 40% cannot yet be validated...I'm assigning a rating of 4 stars.

26 blade leaves streaks
I've used Bosch wiper blades for over 20 years and have stuck by Bosch Micro Edge wipers. I love them but Advance doesn't stock them in the store I go too any longer. So, I switched to the Icon, hoping it would also be a good winter blade and not freeze like the metal frame blades can. Well, at first I liked them, until it rained two days after I purchased the Icon. The 26 blade on the drivers side of our Honda Odyssey leaves streaks on the return (down) sweep of the blade, right in the drivers field of vision. For any wiper this is not acceptable. For a wiper that costs this much for the pair it is unconscionable. This product should be redesigned. In the interim please bring back the MicroEdge blades until Bosch fixes the Icon.
